This book is about Thanksgiving day, what the event lead to, and food of Thanksgiving.

   When did this celebration start?
Thanksgiving happened to celebrate with the Native Americans for their help. They made this celebration with the help used by the Native Americans. Thanksgiving happily started on fourth thursday in November. This celebration ended three days after. If I was there I would be full on the first day! This celebration took so long because they played games, ate, and had fun. WOW, they must've had a lot of food.
What the first Thanksgiving led to
If Native Americans were never to be seen in the first place we wouldn't be alive right now and we’d be living outside. They are very important, not just to me, but also to you!
This celebration still goes on today, because we thank the Native Americans so much that it turned into a holiday. If this never happened then we would be kind of selfish and give nothing in return, we thanked then with the best feast they ever had. Also, because we just had to if they helped you stay alive and we'd give nothing well, then the Native Americans would be sad also.

What did they eat at the first Thanksgiving?
During Thanksgiving there were lots of food such as turkey, potatoes, beans, squash, pumpkins, corn, carrots, turnips, and onions. With the help of Native Americans, they got the food together.
With the Native Americans, they planted, hunted, and much much more.

                           Conclusion
To sum it up Native Americans are important. The celebration started on the fourth Thursday of November and ended three days later. During this celebration they ate lots of food such as, corn, turkey, turnips, and many many more foods. Because of this celebration it led to thanking the Native Americans for helping us.           I Am a Native American
 Map ...
One day me and my troop went out and found a group. They were poor, smelly, hungry, and dirty. We went up to greet them and they weren't so mean. They were pilgrims. We got to know each other and me and my troop helped them live. We helped them plant, hunt, and chop wood. A few weeks have gone by and then the pilgrims had a celebration and invited us. They did this celebration for us because we helped them and they were so happy we came. It started on the fourth Thursday and ended three days later. Months had gone by and the pilgrims didn't want us anymore. So we went and the population of Native Americans there had been going down faster and faster. Soon they were no Native Americans and we haven't been seen for a years. But we are still happy that this celebration goes on till this day.
