My First Fast Ride Ever
“Roarr! Roarrrr!” I heard the engine as I was in line for Boulder Dash. When I got to the ride I was very afraid to go on, as it was the fastest ride at Lake Compounce My mom said, “ If you go on, I will go on too.” I love fast things but not that fast. I was scared for my life. What if I threw up on the ride?
When I got on the ride my heart was pounding for my life. I was worried but my mom said, ’’ I will let you hold my hand”, and that made me happy.
When the ride was moving I was so surprised by how fast it was going. Also, the views and sights that the ride gave me were awesome. I could almost see the whole park!
It was so fast that I didn’t have time to think it was scary and instead it became really fun! The rollercoaster had a lot of ups and downs which made me dizzy. However, whenever the rollercoaster went up I got to see the pretty morning sky and beautiful birds chirping and flying in the trees. The air smelt like candy and popcorn, and even saw a fox in the woods.
I was so happy that I went on Boulder Dash. However, when the ride came to a stop I got really mad because I didn't want it to stop, I had had so much fun. I would have stopped getting mad if I could go on the ride again, but my mom said we had to leave to another ride. I wish I could have gone on that rollercoaster for another million times it was so fun. I will always remember how much fun I had at Lake Compounce. Next time when I come to Lake Compound I will be sure to go on Boulder Dash first. Happiness raced through my body. I couldn’t wait to go on again.
In the future, I don’t want to scream as much as I did and try to keep my hands up in the air for the entire ride. At that moment I was glad I had actually gotten myself to go on Boulder Dash, and didn’t think to much about anything else except what I was getting myself into.
