D.A.R.E Essay
In D.A.R.E this year we learned how to say no. I learned positive behavior. I also learned how to make decisions when people are Pressure you. We even talked about risky situations. You have to be over 18 years old to smoke.
Nicotine’s job is to make you want more. We learned about how to make safe choices. I learned that if someone came up to you and said do you want to smoke a cigarette. There are 75,000 people who died every year. You have to be 21 to drink.
We also learned about If people are smoking or drinking at a party to not go or to avoid the people that are going to the party. Bullying can happen in places where teachers are not around or they can happen in places like the bus or the playground.
Another thing is that this year in D.A.R.E we played a game called D.A.R.E baseball it is where there are two teams. How the two teams work is they are split up the boys are on one team and the girls are on another team.
Also we learned about body language and how you can tell what someone is feeling by looking at them. I would have never learned all of this without the outstanding Officer Mark. I pledge to do everything I can to be safe by remembering everything I was taught.
