Virginia Tourist Attractions
There are different tourist attractions in Virginia. Three popular attractions are Virginia Aquarium, Mount Vernon, and Monticello.

Mount Vernon is 15 miles south of Washington, D.C. It is also on the Potomac River. Mount Vernon was the home of George Washington and his wife, There are also beautiful gardens, a museum, and a education center.
Monticello is Thomas Jefferson’s home. He started building and designing his house at age 26. It is in Charlottesville, Virginia. There are tours of his house and historic gardens.
