It went all over the place so that means some muskets were not very accurate .The British and the Rebels both used this weapon. The Pennsylvan long rifle / musket was better than most muskets. The standard musket barrel was 3.5 feet long. The Brown Bess musket was invented in the 16th century. The musket was fired by gunpowder and also flintlock. Swords
The sword was the most common weapon for the European men colonists. The sword was made out of metal like the bayonet. Also the sword was put in a holster. The general was the one who would have the sword. The general would direct them where to go with his sword.
Cannons
There were 5 types of cannons. It look 14 men to operate the cannons. That was when the Europeans came over to America but it took less men in the Revolutionary War. Also, the cannon could break down walls and ships. All of the cannons were smoothbore, that means that the cannonball did not go straight which is a rifling concept. The cannons could shoot the cannon ball a mile away so the cannon could go longer than the muskets that they used close up.
