In Harry Potter there are many characters that interact with each other. You are going to learn about some of them. One of the most important characters is Harry Potter. His parents names are Lily and James Potter. When Harry was 1 years old the evil Lord Voldemort came to kill Harry and his parents he killed James first and then he killed Lily. They were killed because at a pub Sybil Trelawney made a prophecy that a boy born at the end of july would kill him . And then he tried to kill Harry but instead it put a lighting bolt scar on his head, instead of killing him. Now people call him “The Boy Who Lived” because he got struck with a killing curse but did not die from it.
The next important character that you will learn about is Harry’s best friend Ron Weasley. He is a Pure-Blood when he is from an all magic family and has no muggle ancestors. Also he is from a big but poor family they live on a farm. His dad works at the ministry of magic he is a loyal friend to Harry and Hermione but is very funny too. His brothers and sisters names are Bill ,Fred,George and,Ginny.
Now you are going to learn about the smartest kid in Hogwarts Hermione Granger. She is Muggle-Born witch means she is born by non magic parents but she is a witch or wizard. She got her acceptance to hogwarts she went to Diagon Alley to find all of the spell books she could get her hands on. That is how she got so smart probably.
These next characters you will learn about are some of the Professors at Hogwarts. The first one I will tell you about is the headmaster Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. He was the strongest wizard in the magical world he was the only person that Voldemort feared the most because he was so strong. In Harry’s 6th year he was slowly dieing because of a curse put on a horcrux he destroyed so he asked Snape to kill him. He died when he was 115 years old.
Now you will learn more about Snape . He was a double agent for the dark lord and had to kill Dumbledore to gain trust from the dark lord. During the battle of Hogwarts Voldemort asked Snape if the elder wand serves him but snape lies. Because it belongs to Harry Potter because in the tower where dumbledore died Draco Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore, so the wand belonged to him but then In Malfoy Manor Harry disarmed Draco so the elder wand is Harry's. So Snape was killed by Voldemort's snake Nagini who bit him in the neck Harry found Snape and Harry saw the night that his parents were killed.
The last professor I will talk about is Hagrid. He is a half giant and half human Harry Potter meet him in the first year when he came to bring Harry to Hogwarts because Harry was a wizard. He is the keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts.
