Big Mall, Lonely Life

I am Ivan the Gorilla
I wonder why I am locked in this lonely cage in a mall
I hear kids whining about candy, gum and toys
I see countless shops from the left side to the right side
I want to go home to the forest or somewhere with fresh air and grass
I am never going to see my family again

I pretend I am happy, but I'm really not
I feel like a painting in a museum being looked at
I touch my cold concrete floor
I understand that I need to live with this life
I say, “I have to do this!”

I dream that I can go out into the world again
