New York is the perfect place to go if you love to see beautiful sites, it’s the perfect place to shop, and watch the cool New Years ball drop! There are a lot of musicals to see in New York City. You never know if you can come across a celebrity! A lot of news channels are located in NYC like GMA or News Channel 8. There is a lot of history in New York City like the story of how The Statue of Liberty was made and who made it. I love NYC because you can go on the top of The statue of Liberty that shows freedom and history, there’s multiple shops to shop at, and you can go to the amazing times square!
The Statue of Liberty is a pretty statue that holds a lot of history, and shows freedom. The Statue of Liberty is 305 feet high, and it might be scary if you are afraid of heights if you're going on the top. It was made as a gift from France, Frederic Auguste Bartholdi made most of it. There is a island called Liberty Island which has the Statue of Liberty on the island. Liberty Island is off the coast of NYC so it’s not in NYC but you can see it very well. Some other countries don’t have freedom, and when the guests pass The Statue of Liberty they see the freedom that she holds.
The torch is a symbol of enlightenment. The Statue of Liberty's torch lights the way to freedom showing us the path to Liberty. Even the Statue's official name represents her most important symbol Liberty. Lady Liberty holds a book in her hand, it says JULY IV MDCCLXXVI (July 4, 1776), the day the United States adopted the Declaration of Independence.
New York City has the BEST shops that you can shop at. I have looked at two shops that are popular in NYC. The first really good shop is The Disney Store, it’s really kid friendly and it’s a blast! The Disney store has so many toys to choose from. There are Mickey Mouse teddy bears. I know that there are Disney stores at the mall, but in NYC it’s way bigger and even better! Another store is a women's store called New York & Company. It’s a 4.5 star rating. You can buy nice shoes, or heels. New York & Company is a great place to find really nice clothes. New York City has great stores. 
Times Square is a big part of New York City. It’s where you can see the New Years ball drop! When you are at Times Square you will find that it’s super busy. The city of New York estimates that some 2 million people will show up in Times Square to see the crystal-clear ball drop over the final 60 seconds of the year. Times Square is probably the busiest part in New York. Times Square has really big buildings and they have a lot of tv screens that have ads or movie trailers on them. People around the whole world come to Times Square and it’s cool to see all the people. Times Square is the perfect place to go if you like busy places.
New York City can be busy, but it’s really fun to go visit for a day or two. New York City has the The Statue of Liberty that has beautiful sites when you go on the top. The Statue of Liberty can be fun to take pictures of. There is a estimation of 112 shops in New York City. The Disney store is super fun to walk in, it’s kind of like a Disney wonderland! I love NYC because you can go on the top of The Statue of Liberty that shows freedom, there’s multiple shops to shop at, and you can go the amazing Times Square!
