Turquoise
Turquoise feels like cold water
touching your lips.
It smells like a breezy wind on a fall day.
It looks like the pool on a hot a summer day.
It tastes like a cotton candy lollipop,
you’re eating now.
It looks like an expo marker
your teacher is using.
It sounds like ice cracking
when you’re ice skating.
When you dive into the ocean, you feel specks of turquoise coming all around you.
When your teacher is ripping paper,
it sounds like turquoise.
It smells like cotton candy ice cream
when you go to the movies.
Turquoise is when you look at your friends shirt.
It tastes like a refreshing drink
on a hot summer day.
It feels like a nervous feeling on your birthday.
Turquoise also feels like you’re excited, because you’re on your way to Disneyland.
