If I were in charge of the world...
I’d cancel homework,
Monday mornings,
All shots, and also nightmares.
If I were in charge of the world...
There would be faster ovens,
Longer living dogs, and
More desserts that I love.
If I were in charge of the world...
You would not have too much ice cream,
You would not have to clean your room,
You would not have to turn lights off
and go to sleep when told,
and go to sleep when told,
Or “Stop sliding down the stairs!”
You would not even have stairs.
If I were in charge of the world...
A banana split would be a healthy food choice,
A kid could watch every movie without getting scared,
And a person that forgot to send
Or sometimes friend,
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world.
