Did you ever wonder if there were any interesting historical facts about Alabama. Did you know that Alabama changed the United States! In my research I found some interesting historical facts such as building the first trolley! I wrote about three!
One of the most important historical things Alabama did was that they built the first rocket to put humans on the moon. For example the other rockets were not able to carry humans. The rocket was built in Huntsville. It was built on October 27 1961. The first rocket did not make it to the moon. The first rocket to get to the moon was on the eleventh try. It was a different model than the first one.
Another historical thing that happened in Alabama was that Montgomery was the capital and birthplace of the confederate states. The confederate states are Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas,Louisiana,Virginia,West Virginia,North Carolina,South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia,and Florida.For example most of the south east region. They fought against the north in the civil war. They wanted to have slaves and the North did not. The North won. The Confederate states wanted to win because they were too lazy to do the crop work themselves.
Another historical event was the world's first electric trolley system was introduced in Montgomery. The trolley made his debut in 1886. A trolley looks a bus. The trolley quickly made it way to be in every continent. For example every one wanted a trolley once it came out. There were no cars so everyone would ride them. A trolley draws power from overhead wires.
Now you now you know some interesting historical facts about Alabama. If Alabama was not a state there would not have been a Civil War. Alabama is the best historical state.
