Chapter 1
Greg hopped off the bus and started jogging happily down the driveway thinking about the TV show he would turn on when he gets inside.“Hi Mom,” Greg called as he walked into the house. He dropped his backpack on the floor, jumped on the couch and turned on the TV.  Then his mom came down the hall. “Hi honey, don’t you have to do your homework?” asked Mom.
“Bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla” Greg said annoyed.
“Excuse me!” Said Mom. You are so annoying mom, I hate you.  Greg thought as he changed the channel.
“At least come and have a snack.” Mom suggested.
“Fine” Greg says as he lowers the volume on the TV.
Why does he treat me so bad, I  honestly do nothing wrong, Mom was thinking as she went to the fridge.
Chapter 2
Greg was walking down the hall to his classroom and was thinking of excuses to tell his teacher Mrs. Brophy. He walked into his classroom and started to say to his teacher , “My do-,”

“I don’t want to hear it! You haven’t turned in your homework in for four weeks straight! Your grades are just getting worse and worse! I don’t want to hear your dumb excuses any more!  Go to the  principal's right now!” Greg walked  slowly to the principal's because he thought Principal Brown would be calm and nicer than usual. Then Greg entered the principal's office and sat down in the chair in front of his desk.“So I heard you didn’t turn in your homework again, am I right?” Mr. Brown asked as he closed his computer.
“Yes” said Greg.
“And why is this?” Principal Brown asked.
“Because I hate homework and I think it is dumb and stupid to do work at home. I mean, you should be able to relax and not do any work!” Greg Yelled.
“Do not yell at me!” Principal Brown said, “I am calling your mother!”
“ No please don’t!” Greg teared.
“ I am calling your mother and father and that's that”.  “No please duh…” Greg started to say.
“Please leave,” said the principal. Greg walked out of the principal’s and walked up the stairs to his classroom.
                                          Chapter 3
Greg entered the classroom still sniffing and wiping tears. They were having read aloud. As he went to sit with his friends, the teacher stopped reading, and said, ”No, you may not sit with us because you haven't turned in your homework for a while, so go to your seat and take out the homework that you should have done ages ago.”.
So, Greg went to his backpack and got his folder. Then he went to his desk, sat down, opened his folder and got out his homework and started. When he finished 10 of his 40 homework pages the teacher announced that Greg's class needed to line up for lunch. So, Greg stopped working, and got up to get his lunch.
Then his teacher whispered in Greg's ear, ”You can go outside today, but don’t get too excited.”  The second Greg heard that, he got super hyper! As they were walking to lunch, Greg was skipping. When they arrived at the cafeteria, he was running to his seat.  A teacher stopped him in his tracks and told Greg to walk, so Greg walked the rest of the way to his seat
