Animals In Ohio
They run across dark woods with thick bramble or graze on dried out grass. All of these animals and unique. There are many animals in Ohio. There are gray wolves, red foxes, bison and Ohio's state animal, the white tailed deer.
They run through dark, cavernous woods. Drained in darkness. Fast flashes of fur. These are Gray wolves. Gray wolves are fast, vicious predators; they hunt at night. Their brownish-blackish gray coats help them camouflage at night, and in woods. Gray wolves are also called timber wolves or common wolves. However, you call them they are still wolves. The wolf is also is the largest of the dog family. So next time you're out in the woods, beware of the wolves. 
A loud rumble in the distance. An earthquake? No, a herd of bison. Bison are big, furry, strong mammals. They usually graze in prairies. As a result, bison are very capable of living on the prairie. Their long, furry coats help them in cold, harsh weather. When winter comes around, they don't get cold. Bison also run very fast, at a speed of 40 miles straight. They also can jump 8 feet from standing.Therefore, bison are very amazing. 
So, the next time fur flashes before you...a white tail in the woods, a loud rumble on the prairies, know you might just see one of these astonishing animals. A wolf or fox with fast flashing fur, or a white tail exposing its white under side, and the loud rumble of the hooves in the prairie. Doesn’t Ohio have some marvelous animals?
